Whyte really needs to make sure he doesn’t take Povetkin lightly and quit with all this Fury talk...we already know Fury changes direction like the wind. I was at the o2 and witnessed how comfortably Povetkin handled Hughie Fury, and he has since held the highly rated Michael Hunter to a draw. Unless he has aged overnight, Povetkin is still very capable and dangerous with a great overhand right and left hook, along with plenty of experience, which can very feasibly topple Whyte.

Hate on Whyte all you want, but name me one fighter who would take on an unnecessary challenge like this ahead of their guaranteed shot at a title. In the HW division, definitely not Fury, and Usyk doesn’t appear to be agitating for a big fight either. I’m not going to criticise those guys as it’s pretty much the norm in boxing these days, but we should acknowledge when fighters like Whyte break the mould.

Fury is bigger than the belts, he's #1, all roads lead to him.

If a boxer wants to be the man in the division, they have to fight and beat Tyson Fury, regardless of belts.
well that’s whyte is asking inst he..if he wins and fury refuses to fight him he’s ducking him ...no ifs and buts about it

Fury is going to fight a boxer who is superior to Whyte, so if you want to call it a duck, fine.

Boxing fans like myself want to see the best fight the best, and the two best fighters in the division are Fury and Joshua.

Dillian Whyte is a fat bum.

well you cannot have it both ways you say they need to beat fury and yet you try and deflect it if fury don’t want to fight him and if he gets stripped for not fighting fury then that’s his fault...Joshua has just said he wants undisputed so fury needs to get his mandatory out the way if whyte wins Saturday ...as I said I don’t want to see fury stripped but if he wants to go in the Joshua fight as champion he has to fulfill his obligations as champion...full stop

Joshua has previously claimed that he would fight Fury even if he didn't have a belt.

Stop falling for Eddie's spin and use your brain for once.

Joshua can't call himself a champion until he fights and potentially beats Fury.

Until then, he's just a belt holder, nothing more.

AJ claims to care about his legacy, and his legacy fight is Fury, not a man he's already sparked out.

                  Man up lol.

Fury is the guy who goes into long reigning champions backyards and dethrones them.

AJs best win is Fury's sloppy seconds, let that sink in.
