Oscar De La Hoya Vs. Patrick Teixiera

The Golden Boy has confirmed a comeback is in his future @ 154-160 division. Most consider Teixeira the weakest of the 154 lbs champs he’s also with Golden Boy. Who you got in this fight?

    ODLH easily.

He is one of my favorite fighters all time and you can sit here "reminding" me all day that he retired years ago, looked awful against Manny, and didn't take his career seriously the last 6 years of it.

I don't care. He is still an ATG with one of the best jabs in history, and like with any fighter in his same position, I give you the benefit of the doubt. Prove me to you don't have it anymore, otherwise I won't believe it. ODLH is about to shake things up in those weak divisions, I have to see otherwise to believe otherwise.

    WAR OSCAR!!!!!!

I seen somewhere Amir Khan wants to be Oscar's comeback opponent. That would be a laugh.

He is not coming back. He has been talking about coming back for ten years but he never does. He is 47 years old. Any guy in the top 50 beats the hell out of him. He will never be a world champion again. He had lots of glory in his career and he is worth 250 million so he just wants more glory but he can beat anybody good anymore as Pac clearly showed a long time ago. he thinks he can be like hopkins but he can't. Hopkins was an almost ageless freak but Oscar is just a way way past prime boxer. If he comes back he will be sorry he did.

Yeah he probably beats Patrick Teixiera

I don't know lets see how Oscar looks after years of "Partying"

He said he coming back before then he decided against it. I would be OK with Exhibitions, if he can find another older fighter who wants to comeback and make some money that would be OK like with Tyson and Jones Jr

I didn’t always root for Oscar but I respected how great a fighter he was. He fought everyone. He was tough as nails, and was in exciting fights. If anything he looks better and better as time goes by. Tucked his chin, dragged his back foot and could jab, hook, and take one himself. He was dangerous when he really pushed. Wasent hard to make fights against him either, something I think we can all appreciate now more than ever. He was a tide that rose all boats. Did a lot for boxing.
