That is very poor from Queensberry by the looks of things. Pfeifer was a decent fight which Dubois should have won if he is even close to being anything like the real deal. This suggests that they are not confident about Dubois and don't want to risk derailing the Joyce fight. It is weird though as Queensberry are all in on Dubois and may have backed the wrong horse come fight time with Joyce.

Spong would have given him trouble his style is not of a standard boxer.
Warren pulled the plug as must figured to dangerous but it makes Dubois look like not the real deal, why did they not continue with the Brain scan and bring both over just in case. The other guy clearly could have fought another heavyweight. WTF

Daniel Dubois said in an IFL interview last week that they were gonna switch opponent. So the medical/MRI excuse is obviously bollocks. They realised Pfiefer is a live dog, with good pedigree. Shame really because I was looking forward to it, thought it would be an intriguing test for Dooby.Comment

On top of that, Pfeifer hasn't beat anyone of note yet. There's no reason why Warren should be fearful that he would beat Dubois. Dubois has already fought better competition. Whether the reason for him getting removed from the card is legit or not, nothing you have said is backed by any actual evidence, it's just typical ignorant American trash talk. According to what? You Americans make me laugh. There's nothing in any of Dubois' previous fights or rumors from sparring that suggests he's going to get "streched out" by some low level German prospect. If Warren was willing to put him in with Joyce months ago, why the fuc*k would he be worried about Erik Frigging Pfeifer? He hasn't beat anyone of note. Who cares. Dubois would've knocked out Pfeifer anyways. It's not like anyone was pumped for this tune up fight. I agree it's strange that they would replace Pfeifer with a lesser puncher but all that matters is Dubois vs Joyce happens in October or whenever it's supposed to happen. That is the real matchup. Dubois wasn't going to be tested by Pfeifer anyways. I don't know why everybody is crying about it. Nobody said Pfeifer had a chance before he was taken off the card.
