We will not under any circumstances tolerate post that have the sole purpose of starting wars over race. There was a thread started which had to do with boxing, a member took it upon himself to turn the thread into his stage for discussing issues having to do with race and further went on to post links to website forums that are associated with white supremacy groups.

I assume you are going to ban the author of the thread "Big Lumbering White Heavyweights ". Actually that post and author should have been removed first according to your criterion because it is PRIMA FACIE race baiting. I hope there are no double standards here.

I don't think he over stepped his boundries. It may have been borderline baiting, but he was trying to make a point about white heavyweight boxers. I had no complaints about the author the thread. I did have 77 post reports from over 50 users on the guy who went on a wil rant about "White America" and he went way over board with posting direct links to forum areas that cater to supremacy groups. Not only did he do that thread, he went and started another thread in the Lounge on the same sunject.

I tolerate a lot and let plenty slip by from everyone, but race is a very touchy issue that I have personally seen destroy other boards. I really need to appoint some good mods to keep watch because this forum is growing at an alarming rate and due to my schedule, I cant read every post.

As far as complaints go if discourse is constantly defined by popular opinion it will cease to exist...

"Lumbering" I believe separated the group of fighters he was talking about from the other white fighters. I think that acquits him of baiting. But like I said on the thread, it looks like the inclusion of the word "white" invites potential controversy.
