Comments Thread For: Franco: I'm Regular Champ, Chocolatito's Super Champ, Why Not Make The Fight Happen

With lucrative options looming ahead, Joshua Franco is more focused than ever to take care of present-day business. The 24-year old San Antonio still draws fond memories of his secondary junior bantamweight title win over Andrew Moloney (21-1, 14KOs), dethroning the previously unbeaten Australian this past June in Las Vegas. The WBA "Regular" version of the title he claimed puts him on a straightaway path toward a dream fight with four-division and reigning WBA "Super" champion Roman Chocolatito' Gonzalez (49-2, 41KOs) whenever such a fight can be ordered.

haha what a joke this is. the fact that almost anybody nowadays is a world champion. lineal, WBC, interim, Franchise, WBC Diamond, WBA regular, WBA gold, WBA Super, IBF, WBO. There should only be one title per division otherwise why even take this sport serious

"“A wish for anyone to defend my title against, I would say against Chocolatito,”"

Why would Roman want your title if he already holds the higher one?

Sebastian 'Man Bun' Formella is the one and only IBO World Champion.

That's no fault of his. Chocolatito didn't pick Yafai. Yafai's team picked him since they underestimated Chocolatito saying he was past it and would be an easy win for Yafai

It was HBO's fault for hyping up Roman like they did with all their fighters. Go look at the past 10 years of HBO fighters. None of them were on anyone's radar for P4P but suddenly they are on HBO and they are on everyone's P4P list.............

That's cause the Superfly series was one of HBO's most popular cards and Chocolatito was a part of the franchise
