If you don't want the 'female' qualifier on your title, then don't compete in a restricted competition.

You either fight anyone and win the general, all encompassing title - or you fight in a restricted competition and get a title which reflects this.

No-one gets to claim the heavyweight title if they are competing in middleweight fights. Your title reflects your actual achievements. Being the best female boxer is something to be proud of. It isn't the same as being the best boxer. Pretending that it is... is dishonest.

You joke about woman fighting men in boxing but give it time. If Eddie thinks it will bring in subs and he is allowed to do it it will get done. Nothing is out of bounds anymore. Right now woman fighters are cheaper to pay, easier to get into the ring so start there. Give them a belt. But it will go on. Hey if it gets people talking just talking and boxing is mentioned then they will use it. The worst is yet to come. The fighter was born a man but became a woman, the other fighter was a woman but became a man imagine the ink you could get on those sick topics. If it brings in subs, or catches some eyes. They will do it. The story writes itself. Then the movie. Electronic judges you mean no more envelops of cash like the old days ?

            Lol, so funny.

...even though the pink title was to commemorate breast cancer awareness and was not standard anyway. But sure, pander away with your meaningless gesture

Seniesa "Superbad" Estrada and Marlen Esparza fought 3-minute rounds in their 10-round WBA interim championship last Fall. That was a bad-ass fight which showed that the elite in the women's game can handle 3-minute rounds. I doubt that a majority of female pros can safely do 3-minute, 10 round fights, so maybe just have these rules for title fights?

Apparently there are many studies that show that the average female athlete cannot safely endure that much time fighting due to faster dehydration and slower physical recovery from punishment.

Cool, so now all the belts are the same. The gold belt, silver belt, copper belt, zinc belt, any earth's minerals belt, franchise champ, regular champ, interm champ belt, did I miss any?...

The belts should be the same if they actually fight the same people. We all know that's never going to happen.
