A woman who turned pro at age 30 and had a record of 8 wins, 2 losses just beat the Floyd Mayweather of women's boxing. That is why it is a joke.

Womens' boxing has all the corrupt problems that boxing has acquired over the last century, such as four major belts tons of regional belts, but only handful of fighters globally.

Boxrec has record of 9 registered and ranked women at welterweight in all of the USA.... 59 globally.

Compare to to Men's boxing: same number of titles, but 439 welterweights in the USA and 2,187 globally registered and ranked by boxrec.

There is no talent pool in womens boxing. Virtually anyone can pick it up and be a champion, as we saw Saturday, which is why we say it's a garbage sport. It is.

Women's MMA has none of those problems and is an excellent sport; there is no talent or skill disparity in women's MMA. This has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with women's boxing being an utter sham.
I'm resurrecting this because I want to respond here. The reason why you have so few is due to this attitude. MMA has less of a barrier because it's not filled with the culture of racial tribalism and sexism.

Here an example. Say your son is training hard to be a boxer. He's got some amateur fights under his belt. And as his dad, you say, "Son, go ahead and box but don't expect me to watch cause you are weak, small and can't box worth ****."

That attitude creates a prohibitive attitude and culture. For the kid in his home and for woman in the boxing "arena." The MMA didn't start off with women, but now you have really good fighters. I've been impressed with Rose, etc.

Katie Taylor, Clarresa Shields, Seniesa Estrada ....

More important, there is a younger generation that are taking the sport to the next level. The sport is not there yet, but what I'm saying is to stifle that discouraging attitude because it's that attitude that has prevented the sport from being where it is now.

Women can fight. That can be surprisingly vicious and strong.

Don't believe me, read this because the woman here beat two adult men to death with her fists:

So I made a post that stressed that while women can indeed fight as well as men, as is evident in MMA, women’s boxing is an absolute sham of a sport due to the points laid out....

and you brought this thread back to life to tell me I’m wrong because.... women can fight?

        Wow.

I know you are not the brightest bulb in the pack, so let me stress or emphasize what I was saying: Women's boxing is an investment and though you do not have the pool of female fighters now to make it highly competitive, if you invest, as in the analogy "you support your son's amateur career," it will pay dividends later.

I hope this **** doesn't fly over your head this time because I typed it out for an eight-year old.

Ah, so you agreed with my criticisms. Excellent.

Actually, you didn't say what I said. I didn't say it was ****e. I didn't say that there's no talent pool. I am saying that there IS A TALENT POOL and it is GROWING so that you will have a great level of competition among the women boxers in the world in the near future.

As in that article, you have evidence of a 30 year old man being beaten to death by a 22 year old woman who has boxing as a background. And that no one wanted to stop her because everyone was scared of her due to her being "very strong." I'm just saying ... if you underestimate a woman (women), it can be at your own peril.

McCaskill’s other loss is to undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor. But Taylor should have lost to Delfine Persoon. Persoon is the girl who got knocked out by a girl who finished her career 6-3.

Taylor is another fighter that has looked bad almost every time she’s spotlighted.

Thank God we have Clarissa Shields. Her most impressive win came against a woman who cried in a spotlight fight because she didn’t want to take her weave off.

These are the best fighters in women’s boxing. Why are we pushing to make this sport popular?
Cecilia should have stayed with Banks, her boxing have gone out the window with Un-Abel Sucker-chez. See Maurice Hooker boxing skills also go down the toilt with him.

I am old school. I don`t like female fights. I don`t even like women with muscles.
