Dang this was really sad. I enjoyed watching Marinez dispatch this hype job and happy to see him win and get more opportunities. This was my first time seeing and hearing about him and I thought his performance would make it impossible to deny him the victory. Leave it to boxing though. I hope this result gets challenged and changed as this was an abomination. We're all going through a pandemic, money is tight and this kid deserved to be rewarded for future opportunities, not his first L. The Romero kid is not impressive at all

Man it sucks to see fights like this were the scores are so much wider than they should be, especially for a fighter that most think lost. It only sets the gifted fighter up to get his ass whipped by tougher competition because they start drinking the judges kool-aid instead of making adjustments to improve there craft.

Heartbroken for this dude Marinez. He did nearly everything right all night. Had it 118-110 for him, it wasn't even close. Worst decision since Lara v Williams.
