Good read as always! I tend to think boxing only started in 2000's. And very ignorant about the past. I guess I need to start watching some old fights and educate myself...

Get back issues of ring magazine before Oscar bought it. Get copies of the ring record books published every year. There is much to be learned from them. They list the complete records of all champions and top contenders and also have pfp ratings going back pretty far.
