Bob Arum: Nobody cares about Usyk, Fury vs AJ is NEXT

Bob Arum has revealed that Usyks mandatory will not get in the way of Fury vs Joshua.

"As long as Fury and Joshua get through Wilder and Pulev the undisputed fight is next, Usyk will not be allowed to delay the fight the fans want to see"

What fans? I don't follow the heavies but is that really a thing, Joshua vs Fury fight being big? Maybe in the UK? Not sure in the US. You can't pay me enough to watch that.

I'd rather see Usyk fighting someone in his weight class (cruiser).

Boxing fans. The vast majority want to see that fight. I mean what other fight would be better at HW?

Me thinks this is how the story is going to play out. Olek is going to surprise Bob Arum and slip away with the gold. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

I'm with you bro. Nobody in America cares about Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury. Anthony Joshua is viewed as a loser over here after Andy Ruiz embarrassed him, and ever since the 'Bronze-Bomber' was robbed the interest in the HW division has died.

Just look at the depleting numbers in the Fury and Joshua threads.

Arum and Warren are really really worried about losing their cash cow. They need AJ - Fury to be the 5th fight of that contract as Whyte poses too great a threat of the upset and if the Usyk fight happens, then Fury is out of contract and you know that Hearn will just love having all the heavyweight contenders in his stable.

If so, Joshua will be stripped and Usyk will fight Parker for free title. Even better for Hearn.

Well, in Europe heavyweight division if the most popular by far. Nobody cares about midgets fighting for 122 -140 titles.

No he won't, the Wbo can approve a Unification over a mandatory at their discretion and do you think they will want the sanctioning % from AJ vs Fury or Parker vs Usyk in front of 3000 in Auckland.

Usyk is getting no title shot for at least the next 18 months.
