I hope it does happen. And Lopez has a puncher’s chance. But I see fear all over him. It wouldn’t be the first time a fighter backs out. Look at how klitschko backed out of the Fury fight. He was terrified. Lopez didn’t want this fight but made himself look silly with all that barking. He’s backed into a corner now that his bluff has been called, so he had to make the fight to save face. Watch, I bet he gets injured in training and needs some random surgery.Comment

What? You mean when he pushed back the date by a couple of months and then made his mandatory defence as required? Klitschko had a rematch clause and FURY didn't honour it, say what you want about the reasons but it was Fury who backed outI hope it does happen. And Lopez has a puncher’s chance. He'll show up for the money. Rewatch Lopez vs Nakatani and tell me if this is a guy that can beat Loma.Comment

No way. Klitschko was scared from day one. Fury came dressed up like Batman and klitschko was shook. He then got slapped around in the ring and LOST! Later he faked an injury to avoid the rematch. When Fury came back from his personal problems, Klitschko retired out of fear.Comment

Klitschko was scared yeah no question about that but he still got in the ring. I thought you were saying he ducked Fury the first time when he caused the date to be pushed back (I think he said he was injured which I didn't buy at the time) I thought it was that time you meant in which case I'd agree somewhat but wouldn't go as far as to call it a duck since it was just a delay rather than a cancellation. No way. But you saying HE didn't want the rematch, well why wouldn't he want it? What makes more sense, Klitschko who had just lost his belts on a UD (not by brutal KO) not wanting an immediate rematch and opportunity to reclaim his belts when it was him who put the clause in the contract in the first place, or Fury who thought he'd lost when the scores were being read out and who later realised he was still undefeated, not wanting to risk running it back and becoming a part-time champion with 0 defences and a loss on his record?
Klitschko had plenty of losses on his record already and Fury didn't hit him with anything that bothered him so why wouldn't he want to do the rematch? Fury went runningComment
