Comments Thread For: Loma: Lopez Fight Will Be Like Sparring - Thanks For Doing The Talking, Promoting!

Lopez will beat him on power, explosiveness, and jumping on him from the get, with zero respect. I'm sure Loma is prepping for this.Thank you for corroborating what Ryan Garcia told the media regarding his sparring session with Vasily Lomachenko.
This video only proves what Ryan Garcia said, the wrap-man spoke for Vasily Lomachenko, he witness the sparring and said that '' Ryan was good for two rounds, and that he ran in the third ''.
I find is su****ious that you would send a sparring partner home, for 'running' in a single round after he was doing 'good' for the first two rounds.
So the video evidence only supports Ryan's account. We got confirmation of the three rounds, and in two of the three rounds Ryan was doing his thing, like Ryan Garcia told ESNEWS.
Vasily Lomachenko appears to struggle with Latino's, Teofimo is going to do Lomachenko like Salido, I can feel it.
The Latino thing doesn't matter because Lopez and Salido couldn't be more different.
War Lopez!

Loma took a pay cut and gave it to the dude who was forever calling him out so he'd STFU and take this ass whooping and not back out. Damn respect!Comment

I know Lopez has less experience but imo he's the real deal and this is a legit superfight. We'll see if Loma clowns Lopez like he does everyone else.Comment

He has 15 fights and while he has some good wins, I don’t agree that it’s deserving of him being propped up as the p4p #1. So while I have been impressed with what I have seen from loma, I by no means agree that he’s proved to be as good as the hype. He’s good but is he an atg? I don’t know, depends on how the rest of his career plays out.
This incessant need to paint anyone who doesn’t coronate loma as an already atg as a “hater” just turns more people off to him.Lol another sassy queen type dude.
The issue was with how this whole thing is being framed. Obviously loma is getting less money than was previously reported and lopez is getting more. Framing it as if loma is giving lopez money is d-riding bs tho. Lopez earned the extra money by being smart enough to call arum and top rank’s bluff hold out from that initial low ball offer. The $3.2m loma was initially reported to get was never actually his. loma/arum aren’t giving lopez a better split out of the goodness of their heart or because they don’t care about money. They gave it up because they need this fight too.
Again though, there’s this agenda to prop loma up as this altruistic wholesome/pure hero type figure.Comment

Never said he’s an atg
That will be decided later on
Funny how people are willing to call him atg if he beats Lopez when in all reality Lopez hasn’t done chitComment

People have him as P4P1 because he's been fighting nothing but champions, getting belts right and left. That's better than 99 percent of all other fighters. Plus, when you look at his ability, of how he make professional fighters look as if they don't even belong in the ring with him, how he beats guys much bigger than he is, yeah, you have as P4P1.
The best thing for you to do, if you don't designate him as such, is to state your criteria in a quantified form and explain who your P4P1 is based on said quantified criteria. If you did that, then you might not have people disagreeing with you.
That's not the reason why. No one is saying for anyone to paint anyone as an All Time Great. It's when fighters of much lesser stature are ridiculously labeled as being better than Loma or making stuff up about him that's not true. When people are bending over backward to find fault and folly. This incessant need to paint anyone who doesn’t coronate loma as an already atg as a “hater” just turns more people off to him. No. That's literally what he did. He gave up his own money, from his purse, to allow Lopez to have more. That's just what he did. That's a fact, not an opinion. When you deny facts, it sounds like you are in some weird state of denial, and it makes you look dumb. That's probably whey you're fully of red squares. The issue was with how this whole thing is being framed. Obviously loma is getting less money than was previously reported and lopez is getting more. Wrong. If that were the case, then Loma would not have decided to take less. Loma was already offered less than what he should be making, and then he took even less to allow Lopez to have more, which is why we're having this fight now. One of the reasons. And Loma gave it up not because he needs this fight but because he wants this fight. He wants to get past this fight to take on others. A lot of time has been lost with the pandemic, and I believe he doesn't want to lose anymore, especial because of Lopez's being a punk.
NO. No agenda. Lomachenko is treated this way because of how he conducts himself. If others conducted themselves similar to Loma, they'd be getting praise too. Especially if they went on a belt roundup spree like Lomachenko has been doing.Again though, there’s this agenda to prop loma up as this altruistic wholesome/pure hero type figure.Comment

No, the fact is that loma accepted top rank’s initial offer for the fight but Lopez didn’t accept his offer. So in order to make the fight loma agreed to a reduced offer in negotiations so that lopez could be paid more. Yes, he has agreed to take less but it’s not his money because no money had been paid out yet. They’ve come to an agreement on what they will eventually be paid.[SIZE="4"][FONT="Franklin Gothic Medium"] No. That's literally what he did. The point is that he didn’t take less money out of the goodness of his heart. He took less money because he needs this fight. Y’all want to give loma credit for money that lopez earned. True fanboy clowns.Comment

True.
No. He already accepted the reduced offer, and then he, though he didn't have to, said he'd voluntarily take less to increase the "pot," so that Lopez could have more. He already accepted the initial offer. You're missing the point here; he "voluntarily" gave from his already accepted purse amount to Lopez. He did NOT have to do that. But for THAT, Lopez would not be fighting and we wouldn't have a great fight coming up in October. So in order to make the fight loma agreed to a reduced offer in negotiations so that lopez could be paid more.
It was his money because that was his offer, which he already had accepted. I repeat: HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT. IT WAS AN OFFER AND AMOUNT HE ALREADY HAD ACCEPTED.Yes, he has agreed to take less but it’s not his money because no money had been paid out yet. They’ve come to an agreement on what they will eventually be paid.
You're damn right. He didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart. He did it to make Lopez look like the clown he is and to make the fight happen before Lopez waits until Loma has a grey beard and bushy eyebrows. The point is that he didn’t take less money out of the goodness of his heart. He took less money because he needs this fight. Y’all want to give loma credit for money that lopez earned. True fanboy clowns.Last edited by Cypocryphy; 08-15-2020, 02:56 PM.Comment
