Lol I was curious about this. What about the unlikely event Canelo is upset by a random opponent. Will they deserve it too?

If you beat the franchise champ, shouldn't you be the franchise champ?

WBC straight winging it now. WBC and WBA need to cease and desist.

I’d pay big money to see that happen
Not cause of Canelo , but just to see the nuthuggers lose it

I thought it was their retirement belt, which couldn't be won or lost in the ring, which also gives the holder the reign to jump the queue at any time and at any weight. It's a total BS.

Let me interpret this: The greedy and extremely corrupt Sulaiman's intention from the get was to make this like the 'super' version of the even more corrupt org, WBA. He didn't have the guts to say so, to appear decent. But that's how it'll end up being. I don't think they consider Haney their real champion. I call the franchise crap a protection trinket. Loma should drop or pay no fees for it. It's a bogus, empty belt.

Do not acknowledge any belts, like many of us already don't.

They kind of had to do this.

I don’t see Teo winning but if he does it’s likely by stoppage. I don’t t see any way he outboxes Loma to a UD.

How ludicrous would it be to have Loma, or any boxer for that matter, still being franchise champ after losing, especially if it’s a stoppage?

Would just make the sport and everything and everyone connected to it look ******.
