Prime Zahir Raheem in today's 135 division

Where would you rank him? He defeated Eric Morales, but lost to Acelito Freitas. Rahim had the talent, but he lacked some work ethics.

Good question, Raheem definitely had skills and I could see him in the mix with the best LWs right now. Loma beats him, I think Haney beats him, Lopez and him would be an interesting fight 50/50 for me. I think he frustrates and beats Tank. I'd slightly favor him over current Linares, and slightly favor him over Ryan Garcia I think.

When I was in high school he was always fighting at the casino down the road. He probably had half his fights in Oklahoma, I saw him a few times. His prime was eight minutes in 2004.

Any of the current champs beat him.

we don't know anything about the lightweights now because none of them fought anybody elite yet so we can't really gage them. Lomachenko is the dude and imo he beats Zahir rather easily. But other than that I think it's way too early to be putting these kids in historic fantasy matches.

What talent did he have? Just because he stylistically won by default against Morales with his waiting and non-engaging game doesn’t make him anything especial. He’s far below level against any of these top LWs. Even Pedraza would probably beat him up.

Ps. Morales would have beaten him in a boring fashion but that’s not his style and his way of fighting. He always makes a way to make fights exciting whether he wins or loses

Raheem had talent. Its a bad opinion to argue he didn't. He was once a highly touted American prospect. About a level below FMJ. He had no work ethic tho. And that was his downfall

Thanks but it doesn’t change the that he’s anything especial like how you hype them to be. He’s a wannabe slick American that far I can give you

                    - -He was a runner/stinker, so he'd fall into the same low pay grade/comp as Lady Lara and Androgynous One.
