if you watch the early rounds, they were both determined not to leave this one to judges imo..

Yup Rahman was completely worn out coming into the last round. The powerful body punches that Maskaev was able to sneaked in took the air out of Rahman's system.

DAMN watching the last round repeatedly I saw just one right punch that made it through Rahman's defense and the rest are all glancing blows, Rahman simply panicked because his legs are really wobly at that point.

Even if the fight was not stopped, it's going to be a decission for Maskaev. I've got Maskev leading 105 to 103 coming into the last round.

I'm not sure I agree as Rahman appeared to be blasting Maskaev for the first three rounds, but I liked your write-up and your take on it anyway.

Thanks. I saw Rahman show some activity, but like I said, I saw very few, if any combinations, fear, and a very one-at-a-time mentality with his punches. He hurt Maskaev a few times from what I saw and couldn't put him away because Rahman tends to be careful and timid I find.

Yeah, I kind of partly agree with what you say, it was certainly an interesting read.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Not saying I have to be right...just wanted the posters here to be able to see my take on the fight. Thanks for the compliments.

Round 1 went to Rahman, round 2 went to Maskaev, round 3 Rahman again.

Even those early rounds that Rahman stole, I didn't feel pleased with his performance. He seemed to be holding back.

Anyone else have a lengthy comment or debate about either my take or the fight itself?
