Not mad at Teofimo at all, if he gets more money then it was 100% Worth it and it seems like he is going to get what he want at the end of the day. So who gives a sh^t what Internet fans have to say. They will still tune in once the fight is official and watch regardless of all the crying they do online about Boxing

did danny look scared when they fought?

some of you need to knock this "teo is scared" stuff off...youre showing youre real cowardice...i honestly think some of you would rather have teo to blame for a fight not happening than see him fight loma and potentially ruin some things for you

i respect loma...and he very well could beat teo...and beat him rather easily....but he also might not.....

teo isnt scared...he has a manager who is likely reasonable....and theyve had a number in mind that wasnt met in the offer.....teo holding out for a few more bucks doesnt mean hes ducking or scared
If he fights then he is not scared. If he doesn't fight then he chickened out. I want to see this fight. Loma is ready to fight. Lopez is the one holding out for more money or possibly pricing himself out for fear of losing. 1.25 million and a chance to beat boxing's generally considered the pfp best in the world should be reason enough for him to sign on for the fight he demanded. Team Lopez has made no counter offer I have heard of. Lopez Sr said Lopez should get much more money than Loma. what a joke. Time for Lopez to step up or be exposed as a big bragger who won't back his bragging in the ring against the top guy.

IDK I think you are starting to go off on a tangent here. Bringing up Canelo, Jacobs, GGG, and all that baggage. Like I tell my wife, let's stick to the current issue. Feels now like you are bringing old personal emotional baggage into this.

To be fair, it would be exciting wild boxing if Teo floored Loma or wiped the floor with him. Why would a real boxing fan want a fight cancelled rather than see an upset ? Who doesn't love upsets ?? That's crazy talk.

Look you know dang right well some boxers are avoided. It does happen. So if some guys are of the opinion that Teo is "scared", what's the big deal ? I don't see how GGG and those guys play into it. It's just normal talk leading up to a fight... Not everybody has the same perspective. Personally, I'm not sure it's possible for any boxer to be afraid of another. Some careers might be managed to avoid an L, for the most part though, boxers are warriors.
Good points, especially the highlighted portion. While we all have our favorites and may not want to see them lose, hey that's the sport of boxing. If they're not a relative and we're not on their payroll, so what if they get a tough fight and maybe even suffer an ass whipping?

People balk at fighters being labeled as scared, because they figure why would a boxer be in the business of fighting if he or she is scared to fight? They're right about that, but not entirely. Some fighters are scared to lose, because they fear the loss of the opportunity to make more money. It's kind of silly in this case, because Lomachenko is a champion. Losing to him would not ruin Lopez's chances of getting big fights in the future. It sounds to me like Teofimo knows this will be a very tough fight and therefore wants the absolute most money for his trouble. In a normal situation, this is understandable, but during a pandemic where there won't be a live audience in the venue, it's a stretch.

exactly...and like you said hes prob going to get what he wants

but its just funny to listen to the usual suspects call him names...say hes scared(some of them are actually saying they didnt say it now)...and all this other nonsense

but when callum smith is being offered x amount of dollars they say its not enough and the other side should up the offer....well we know its because the guy offering smith the money showed that their hero isnt the ATG they made him out to be now...now theyd much rathe perpetuate that canelo is ducking a 3rd fight than see canelo beat golovkin again....much easier to hide behind the duck myth....the minute canelo would hand him his arse theyd cry about how old golovkin is

its all the same...teo hasnt even killed the fight yet and theyre already calling him names saying he should take whatever hes offered just "cause"....

he hasnt killed the fight yet..its not dead..its not over....loma and arum arent saying they are on to other guys or verdejo...

team lopez isnt going to counter out in the open...they will/are doing so behind closed doors

lopez sr. doesnt matter in this situation...jr. has a manager who is most likely a reasonable voice who understands the business....agreed that saying jr should get more money than loma is a joke...but its sr. saying it and i dont put much stock in it...if you heard teos manager saying it then it would be a different story

lopez is likely to come away with what he wants within reason here because hes helped build this fight into demand and must see tv....

when the fight is dead you can bash him...till then stay humble

pretty good bet that, if teo were to knock loma out, the same guys bashing him would be sweating the **** out of him and telling everyone how no PBC guy will fight the great teo...guaranteed

Jacobs was a regular wba champ and somehow became GGG' mando, corruption, it doesnt work this way, tell Pac his next fight is Bes*****-Butaev or Ugas-whoever winner, if not he'll be stripped, so Jacobs and wba threatened Golovkin of stripping off his wba super belt if they dont fight and pay Jacobs what he asks for, was it like 65/35
The story about Loma and Lopez isnt the same, nobody pushed Lopez to talk about Loma in first place, he was given an opportunity so early in his carrier to fight for the world title against Commey, now he's given another opportunity and exactly what he's been asking for - unification fight with Loma, nobody' forcing him, he's got all right in front of him - titles, money, fame
