The first ever virtual purse bid hearing scheduled to take place has since been delayed-and likely canceled altogether. A scheduled purse bid to determine promotional rights for the World Boxing Council interim lightweight title fight between Ryan Garca and Luke Campbell instead became an announcement to reveal that both sides have nearly finalized terms. I think it's both because it's a winnable fight for both.

I honestly really respect Ryan for taking this fight. This is the toughest fight of his career and Luke is a top tier lightweight. If he blows out Luke, we have a superstar in the making and I will finally admit to that.

So basically the fight "deal" will be made but then postponed until fans can attend live...............

Why lie about it, this is a good fight that fans want to see. Why hide behind covid and delay it? Put it up on PPV. How much money will be lost at the venue compared to what will be gained on PPV?

Glad this one is coming together. It's time for Ryan to put up or shut up. Campbell is a very live dog in this fight. If Garcia can end him with ease then that sets up several potentially great fights.

Nice. real nice. Big respect to young Ryan for taking this one. Gonna try to look past Ryan's schoolboy looks and social media antics cos I believe he actually is a good fighter - maybe very good. This is his chance to show us what he got. Last chance saloon for Campbell too, so I expect he'll leave everything in there.
