I dont get so many of you guys.....Heres a FACT... Spence will NOT be the same fighter he was BEFORE the crash... The reason he wont be the same fighter is because for those who have followed spence career through the ranks, they will tell you that he has been on a downward spiral since beating brook in brooks backyard..

Truth be told i dont even know who the fk this guy is anymore. i was such a hugeee spence fan dating back to amateurs.

Money certainly changed this man for the worst. hes constantly drunk, he doesnt take training as serious as he used to and all these bad people he been hanging around with all led up to his nasty accident.

Im hoping the accident humbled him again. He was such a great guy to cheer for and was always respectable.

Today i have no idea who the fk this guy is anymore. The belt changed him, the money changed him and yes the accident changed him.

So in conclusion, he will NOT be the same fighter as before his accident. He hasnt looked himself since the peterson fight. that mikey garcia ppv money ruined him.

Danny has no chance of winning vs Spence and Spence isn't that good... he's probably at C+ skill set level before his crash...

I like Spence, but that was a horrific accident he was in, and he’s lucky to be alive. We will have to see what the new post crash Spence has.

I didn't read all the comments. Just skipped to where I could post.... I don't see the accident being a factor. DannyG is gun shy when he faces top level opponents. And doesn't let his hands go. If Spence's team allowed him to take this fight, I say they've seen enough behind the scenes to know he's good to go.

This ain't about risking no zero.

It's about the fact that there is no money to make the fight period.

Not enough to pay all the stakeholders for a joint broadcast between ESPN and Showtime/Fox.

There are only two ways to solve this problem.

One is that Crawford and Errol continue to build their brands by fighting and more importantly, BEATING top names so that there is enough hype and interest in the fight from casual fans. Spence has been trying and is in fact doing that, Crawford and Arum haven't complied with that, Manny Pacquiao has also made things difficult by refusing to unify with Spence.

The other solution is to simply have it be a two legged fight like they do in the UEFA champions league.

They can have the first fight at ESPN and the rematch at PBC/Showtime/Fox.

The problem with that is that they probably will still bicker about who gets the first and who gets the second fight.

Obviously, the rematch is likely to generate much more revenue if the first fight turns into a barn burner. They'll be more interest and hype for the rematch if it goes like that, so I can see ESPN and PBC/Showtime/Fox arguing about who gets the second fight.
