Or when Spence punked Crawford's homeboy right before that and told him to be quiet? Bruh stop this y'all see what y'all wanna see.

And cool if it was a money grab alright then I'll accept that answer I will, but don't complain about Crawford not fighting anyone when 1. Crawford 2. Spence 3. Bob Arum 4. Lou Dibella have all said that money is the reason why the fight hasn't happened yet. As long as you admit it aint about anyone being ducked and all about money I'll let this go.

Of course, it's ALWAYS primarily about money. Neither guy wants to risk their 0 unless its for very big money. The only fighter that I've ever heard of turning down huge money for a fight is AJ against Wilder. Did I just turn this thread?

All yawl hating on Spence, including Porter, are gonna disappear like it's a magic trick or something after Garcia gets beaten senseless and stopped.

I think it's valid to question where Spence is physically at this point. He could have died in that crash and he's also been out of the ring for awhile.

I hope he returns to his pre-accident form but at this point we just don't know how he will look, especially against a top opponent who isn't coming off of a near-fatal accident.

Nobody told Mike Tyson to do 90% of what he did, but his prime was undeniably cut short by his bad decisions. It's fair in the sense that yeah, he didn't train for Douglas and it's his fault for that, but if he had a bum leg or something, everybody would have "what if" scenarios about Tyson with 2 healthy legs. All the same with Spence, if he has any sort of decline and Garcia ends up beating him, we'll wonder "what if"?

I do agree 100% that if he does not properly prepare that it's no one's fault but his own, but if Spence was not drunk and a semi plowed into him and something happened, then what? Any lingering injuries will count to any objective observer. If not, then we have to give full credit to fighters beating up over the hill fighters because "it's no one's fault but their own" for choosing to fight younger fresher guys highly favored to stop them. Can't be particular with the "excuses".

He'll get credit, but if Spence is clearly limping, or not turning punches over correctly, then something has to be said. If he gasses before 12, or gets caught with a good shot, that has nothing to do with an accident, and DSG should get full honors.

In the case of a Garcia KO, I could see some people trying to say that Spence had diminished punch resistance because of the accident, and things like that. I don't think that's an excuse, or something that can even be measured.
