When Two Counter-Punchers Face Off, It's a Great Time for a Nap

It's hard to see why a match-maker would do this and expect good results, at least after watching the Jamal James fight. Man, any casual who saw that may never watch boxing again.

However, historically, have two counter-punchers ever put on a great fight? I'm sure they have but I can't think of any time where they did. And by this, I mean two guys who's main game is counter-punching.

      Skill levels matter too

I don’t find fights entertaining when both guys have high action styles but aren’t good

True. If u only know how to win one way it’s hard to get to the top.
I agree that high volume fights can be boring when it leads to nothing. I hate fights with high energy but in the end nobody is even marked up in the face and u knew nobody was ever going to be dropped. I don’t want to clap for a fight with a thousand punches thrown yet nobody even got hurt or has any marks to show for it.

Exactly. I’d rather see two skilled 50cal. snipers duke it out then a pair of Gatling guns loaded with bb’s go at it point blank.

James-Dulorme was a really fun fight. If that doesn't entertain you then maybe the sport just isn't for you to begin with.
