Those sports have players unions specifically so they dont get taken advantage of.

Boxing only has the Ali act and that only protects fighters from being forced to fight by promoters.

Unions are expensive and boxing encourages fighters to be selfish so don't expect a union any time soon

A fighter, actor, or any other form of entertainer does not need 2 managers. This alone should of alerted Golovkin that they are crooks.

I dislike GGG, because he is a whiny baby who fights bums and is afraid to challenge himself, but I hate corrupt, lying, thieving boxing managers or promoters more. Now, GGG made a huge mistake hiring these guys in the first place, but it is pretty obvious reading the lawsuits these 2 guys are your typical fraudulent, thieving, managers who's only goal is to steal as much money as they can from fighters before said fighters become aware. With all sincerity I hope the coward Golovkin wins this lawsuit.
He's been working with them since before his pro debut. Do you honestly think he was tricked and they were robbing him? C'mon Golovkin, his team and family/friends can't be that dumb. He wasn't even locked into a contract by the looks of it, he could have terminated at any time. He didn't until 2019 so he must have been happy with what they were doing. Now the greedy **** doesn't want to pay them for 2018. How can anyone defend someone that fires someone and them refuses to pay them for the prior years work?

You commented before I was finished with the post. 2nd I did not say tricked I said they took advantage of his ignorance and extremely low iq. Having 2 managers is highly unusual and unnecessary. Right there shows they are unethical and GGG was too dumb to notice or understand this. More than likely they were robbing him since so many managers rob their fighters in so many ways that the fighter does not notice until they get a good accounting of their finances. It will come out in court if they were taking more than their contracted share.

Oh, and yes Golovkin is that dumb.

Once Golovkin made it big it seems that greed caused him to turn on the people who helped get him there.

          Like Abel Sanchez.

Those major league players usually have one agent, and they don't pay for training staff, team doctors, etc. (team provides), unless they want their own! Boxers have to pay coaches, cutman, gym fees, nutritionists, managers, and promoters! Way too many hands in the cookie jar!

It's all good! I think Mike joked about how he stomped Don King out at the Desert Pines Resort. Said Don was on the ground with Tyson stomping him in chest like a roach! Karma! Lol!
