There wasnt much about that fight that was competitive. Usyk let him blow his wad then put him to sleep. Im not here to change your mind, Im here to tell you the guy will compete just fine with almost everyone in the division aside from Fury, he may be too big and skilled. He has everything you need to win a strap. You can bookmark this.Comment

Getting smacked upside the head and pulling grumpy faces as he was getting clobbered by Bellew was "all part of the plan"
No truth is Bellew gave him all he Could handle until he remembered he was an old fat dude.Comment

No, it is not about size.
It is about his actual boxing ability, how can I put this? He is completely and utterly overrated.
People for a long time in the boxing world 'Have attempted to make out, that he is a Neo level fighter'. That Usyk is that superior to these other fighters that he will make them look as if they are fighting a dimension below himself.
Usyk is a solid fighter all around, but he possesses zero attributes which can be deemed as great. Is he fast? No not really. Does he hit hard? No. Is he physically that strong? No. David Haye had abnormal speed, power and athleticism which was vividly by far MORE superior to 99.9% of the other heavyweights 'This enabled him to negate the size difference that he may be coming up against'. Evander Holyfield was the complete fighter technically, had abnormal levels of endurance, durability and strength 'If you are a fighter moving up in weight class, you need to be GREAT at something'. Fighters don't just move up and have success because they are solid fundamental well school fighters, all of them have great attributes in one area of their games which separates them from the pack 'Roy Jones Junior, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, David Haye, Evander Holyfield, Vasly Lomachenko, Oscar De La Hoya' all had great attributes in at-least one area of their game.
Uysk has no great attributes, he is just a solid all around fundamental fighter 'This is the reality of the situation'. But because he is a eastern European fighter, he has benefited from the stereotype given to these boxers that they are technically miles superior to the worlds other boxers. 'There is a cult in boxing which promotes the idea that former soviet block fighters, are superior to other fighters fighters technically'.
If Usyk was from Glasgow Scotland, the boxing media would not be incessantly trying to make out that he is a Neo level fighter. Overall Usyk is a solid fighter, and can become a good heavyweight 'But he is not shaking these guys up, or producing any shock waves'.
Note: Not disrespecting the man, Usyk is a solid fighter. I just have not identified any great attributes, and his actions at heavyweight thus-far convey the perception that he is trying to take the shortest route around the heavyweight battle field 'There where shock waves when David Haye entered the heavyweight division, there was deep concern when The commander Evander Holyfield initiated his attack on the division' There have been no shock-waves or concerned since Uysk entered the heavyweight game 'It is all made up by the media'.
Tony Bellew was dead at the weight, and would of fared better against Usyk at heavyweight. When a solid durable fighter like Bellew suddenly gets ****** out by a fighter who is not really a big puncher, that is a clear sign at being dead at the weight.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 08-09-2020, 03:35 AM.Comment

Let’s be honest here; this whole thread is total conjecture.
Some ‘analysis’ has been done with total bias and agenda beforehand so it’s about a useful as a chocolate teapot. Give the guy his shot against Chisora and if he gets sparked out then do some evidence based analysis.Comment

I am a big Usyk fan but I also think he might struggle at heavyweight.
One thing that other Usyk fans sometimes refuse to acknowledge is that he actually get hit quite a lot. he’s not some defensive wizard, even though he has great feet and excellent skills in general. plenty of fighters have been able to land shots on him, and that’s not good news if you are going to be on the smaller side in the division.
I still think he will be one of the better guys in the division though.Comment
