This is about Top Rank preserving Loma. So giving Teophemo an extra 750K-Mill is the difference between profit and loss?

Why not make that 750K to a million as a bonus to the winner? Give Loma 2.5 million and Teo 1.25 million. Winner gets a Milli bonus?

Clearly Top Rank isn’t trying to make this fight. Loma is a great fighter but not even a cash cow. Why are they protecting him.

Loma has a fixed contract for a set amount of fights, he has said multiple times the only way he gets paid more is if he goes into PPV.

I agree on the aspect that they should make it the winner gets a bonus. Maybe then we can see if teo believes he can win. Cut both fighters fixed pay and make more variable. 1M for Teo and 3 for Loma, and 1M for the winner. Teo gets paid more than he ever expected, but has to win. I am pretty sure he wouldn't take it.

Either way, as Teo says, he is growing out of 135. He take 1.25M vs Loma, beats him. Makes one defense, gets WBO mandatory at 140 and gets a massive pay to fight another in house boxer in Ramirez. It just doesnt seem like him and his team believe they can pull it off.
