why does Mayweather need to motivate another grown man?
Well, So Much For The Idea That Tank Won't Be In Shape

He still looks big. LSC is a high output fighter and this is winnable fight for him, no doubtComment

Lol. I didn’t say he was going to beat Loma. I do think if he changes the way he operates and matures he has a better chance to beat him.
That said, the Lomafiles on this board know Tank’s power is an issue for anyone.
Imagine how good he could be if he could spend the majority of camp perfecting strategy rather than having to lose 45 lbs.Comment

Oh yeah with Floyd in his corner the judges are in the bag, already have Tank ahead on the cards!Comment

He does have issues outside the ring- that episode with his girlfriend was inexcusable.A lot of posters want Tank to fail because he is aligned with Floyd and Haymon.
They desperately want him to keep being the unprofessional slob that has out of the ring issues.
Their greatest fear is that he matures because even these bigoted haters realize a focused Tank, backed by Haymon, trained and advised by Floyd, with his drawing ability and punching power, is a real threat to beat their heroes in the future. Top of that list is Loma.
He has had weight issues.
But, what's also true is if he ever got his shyt together, there is no one at 130 or 135 he doesn't have a very good chance to beat, Loma included (and especially so the more time goes by).
This looks A LOT like him getting some things together. We'll see how long it lasts, if he can stay focused.Comment

I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but people just are who they are. How many times have we seen it before? “If this guy could just do this, then he’d be that.” Zab Judah and Adrian broner are 2 examples at the top of everyone’s “could have been” list, but there are countless others. A fighters level maturity, discipline, dedication are all rolled into their personality and who they are at the core. Like I said, he’s fairly young, so maybe he comes around, but I won’t be holding my breath.Lol. I didn’t say he was going to beat Loma. I do think if he changes the way he operates and matures he has a better chance to beat him.

I'd say he's about 147 in this semi-sparring with Floyd, and sharp. He's flipping Floyd around and wants to go at him in a few spots. I imagined Loma holding those mitts. He'll make 130. Worse for Cruz. Keep watching.I bet you he don’t make 130. PBC has a perfect plan. Look at how big he is next to Floyd and working comfortably. He looks about 155lbs. Means he will have to cut to 140lbs with muscle mass. Then 10lbs of water after... which he already has trouble making 135...
130 isn’t the plan bruh.Comment

Nah. Floyd’s not even in shape there. Floyd looks about 5lbs over and Tank still got weight mgmt to full fill while looking way thinner in the ring. Therefore, Tank is about 155 since they’re going for a serious camp with a challenging drain.Comment
