So does Toney/Peter get Maskaev next?

I think I've read that the winner of Toney/Peter gets a shot at the winner of Rhaman/Maskaev, is that true?

Toney/Peter vs Maskaev would be a HUGE fight for the heavyweight division.

Basically Maskaev loses his title in his next fight unless he takes on Kevin McBride

Agreed. Peter, Wlad, Lyhovich, Brewster, would knock him out, Toney would decision him. Im not sure about Valuev. LOL Kevin McBride.

Maskaev can take a optional defense, which I hope come's against Wlad for unification. Maskaev does not need to fight his mandatory which would be either Toney/Peter.

According to WBC President Jose Sulaiman, Maskaev will have to defend the title against the winner of the September 2 clash in Los Angeles between James Toney and Samuel Peter.
