Comments Thread For: Dulorme: James' Talent Isn't Going To Be Enough To Get Him Through 12 Rounds

Thomas Dulorme has not scored a stoppage win in more than three years but firmly believes he is due this weekend. The 30-year old welterweight contender is supremely confident heading into his interim title fight versus Minneapolis' Jamal James this Saturday, which airs live on Fox from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The bout comes nearly four months after their originally scheduled April 11 clash was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, though not at all discouraging Dulorme from believing the biggest win of his career will come the next time he steps foot in the ring.

I give Dulorme a good shot at an upset if he doesn't get caught with a big shot. He's not the most durable guy, but he still got fast hands and can box.

Really ? I think this guy is a horrible fighter. I give him very little chance of winning.

He's not a world-beater, but he is a decent fighter with good skills. Honestly, aside from James' height and reach, he doesn't really stand out in any way. He's a solid contender, but I don't see him as a world-beater either. Should be a fun fight though.

Dulorme by late stoppage. James has mediocre power and tends to get into fire fights. I don't think he has the punch to keep Dulorme off, and keep in mind that Dulorme dropped Vargas in the final minute of the final round, so his power late is pretty good.

Very possible for Dulorme to get a stoppage win, James was stunned by Antonio Demarco who’s fighting above his natural weight and is very shopworn(even though he’s been doing well an should’ve won his last fight)!

James must use his size and not get dragged into exchanges, Dulorme is obviously the harder puncher between the two and possibly quicker!

I think James survives a scare and wins a close decision!

The guy that had a draw with Jessie Vargas and would have beat Ugas had it not been for 2 points being deducted is a horrible fighter? Lmao Dulorme should be the favorite if anything

Jessie has exactly 0 impressive wins on his resume. And one good win vs Sadam Ali, a fighter with only 1 good win on his resume. An old Cotto in his retirement fight.

Don’t even get me started on Ugas. I do think he probably beat Porter. But he doesn’t impress me at all even though he did beat Jamal James before. I’m not saying either are world beaters but I think Thomas Delorme is really really bad. We shall see
