Well if Rios goes up to somebody that called him, then he is being dragged up to fight that guy.

Sorry Lucas had 2 WW fights against nobodies one a guy with 6 losses in 12 fights.

You can write all the hype you want, Rios was shot coming of a loss and brought upand is a B grade fighter.

Matthyyse was stopped by Postol given two cans and then Manny and is also a B grade fighter that was totally shot.

Manny has a bunch of asterisks like this all through his career.

wasnt defending PAC...was just rebuking untrue statements....like “ pac was Matthysse 1st fight at Ww.... and Rios never went back down and stated after 2nd Alvarado fight He could not make weight and was moving up...so don’t see how Pac “dragged” him UP if he never went back down!!!! Just facts Bro...no bias either way!! Some make obviously make false statements bc of bias.

Its a figure of speech when a guy is called out and goes up to take the fight, fact is it was his first at WW and he fought JWWs from then on at WW, thats just a lazy trainer who likes to fight. coming of a loss on top of Manny made him have Vada testing and the list goes on, this is all in the context of whether Mikey is worthy of a Manny fight or not.

Lucas I made 1/2 a mistake lol, he fought two cans at WW, in all this fact finding thats going on it doesnt take away the facts they were lesser fighters than Mikey, thats what this convo is all about.

initially all I said was Mikey would make it a snoozer bc of his safety 1st style.

M.Garcia would have this fans support again if I see him get serious and some pride back. He should be calling the mismatch king out to redeem himself and he should mean it! He got his ass handed to him and acts like it's no big deal. That's embarrassing from a better skilled fighter which Garcia is. C'mon Mikey grow a pair and get your rematch and don't be afraid of the mismatch king. That should be his only goal!!

He was even content to get a technical decision over Salido bc of a broken nose. Have never seen another top fighter choose to quit fighting bc of a broken nose.
How does it not?! I heard fans roar. I see a following. A knockdown is EVERYTHING to me. Almost as good as a knockout, as long as the win follows. More title fights end in 12 round chess matches than anything. Sure, lots of skill is on display. But knockdowns and knockouts create interest and entertainment.

Those of you that are saying "Mikey is gonna end up like broner" or "a punching bag".... let the man fight his career! He has 1 freaking loss! You guys are pathetic. Since when do we shame those trying to do big things? If I was undefeated, and felt I could take on a challenge, I'm doing it. He could've easily folded any round against Spence. For you "cash out" clowns. But he took his beating like a man. And gave props to Spence for doing so. The mindset of you guys is unreal.

the problem in the Spence fight is Mikey ACCEPTED defeat about midway through the fight and chose to take a decision loss instead of laying it all out on the line and going out on His shield like a true Hispanic warrior! It was only the biggest fight of his career....now he calling for the Pac Ppv payday...appears he just wants to cash out at the end. And If He were exciting and crowd pleasing - He would of been a Ppv headliner a long time ago...

Mikey is not a brawler his instincts is to box, I think Spence was just too dominate in his boxing ability, I believe Spence wanted to totally out box Mikey because of things said in the lead up and in doing so Mikey couldnt do anything, he cant out muscle Spence he couldnt get past or inside Errols reach he couldnt do anything, Mikey had no place to go.

I think Mikey is live dog with Manny because of the size, his fight with Vargas helped him get used to the weight and then the style of Manny suits Mikey a lot more than Errol did.

Mikey is a sharp short puncher if Manny is really aggressive he can walk on to some good shots. Mikey is better than a lot of people are giving him credit for I wouldnt write him off.
