Whyte has no sparring arranged? Any word on who he's had out in Portugal?

Reading his comments about chisora, he almost comes across as cool guy and not the buffoon he usually does!

If Povetkin takes this seriously and comes to the table in better shape and mindset than he did for Hunter, he takes this. This would be a significant shift in the WBC rankings. If I see Povetkin looking chubby at the weighin, then no.

Yes...thanks for this. He looks good. Would have liked to get a view of the gut, but he looks much better than with Hunter and Fury. It's on...

Whyte had a change of trainer at a last minute, deals with his protégé affairs. I wonder if all of these things will prove to be too distracting. Povetkin will not be distracted, that is his last chance to secure a title shot. And I give him more than a fair chance. If he was 36, he'd be a favorite to me.

Yeah I don't see a 42 year old povetkin doing any better than the 39 year old version did against AJ

I think Povetkin can beat Whyte. Whyte is nowhere near AJ level.

Povetkin is in a win- win situation, everyone expect Whyte to win. The pressure is on Whyte, and with everything that is going on at the moment then he has to be focus.
