Quality bump. Canelo is at that point now where he’s expected to fight everyone while no other top guys are expected to fight each other. And as soon as he fights a guy people said he wouldn’t and beats him, the excuses start.

Callum Smith was the boogie man not long ago, just too tall and active for Canelo. He embarrassed Smith.

So Plant and GGG are the next two fights unless they chicken out. Then people will start crying about Bienvedes and Betterbiev, but he’ll beat them both too and then onto the next boogie man.

It's just so strange seeing people continue to refuse to acknowledge this man (Canelo).

It's well known around here I felt Loma would embarrass Teofimo. It was the only time I've ever been almost 100% sure of it.

After the fight, I acknowledged that he didn't. Because that's what a man does - admit when you got it wrong.

Now, do I think it was a blowout/domination like some for Teo? Absolutely not.

But the fact is, Loma threw damn near nothing for 6 rounds. And I damn sure didn't give him the second like everyone else seemed to. Loma lost. Teo didn't beat him, Loma beat himself by not fighting for 6 rounds. But "At The End Of The Day", Teo's hand was raised, and I acknowledged that I got that wrong.

This was your opportunity to step up and just admit that Canelo has surpassed your expectations of him. Instead, you continued to make excuses, continue to hate on the only guy who's fighting to be great, and avoid the fact that you got it wrong about him.

That's your right, but it's sad regardless.
