I think you could probably add Cotto to the has beens Alvarez fought. Miguel was 5-5 in his last 10 fights.
Miguel beat a washed up, one legged fighter to become MW champ. The fight with Alvarez was that nice big payday a fighter likes to go out on. (although Cotto did fight twice more, losing his last fight to Saddam Ali).

I really don't know why he has not fought one the twins yet..I love that fight for Alvarez..I don't exactly blame him for not fighting an American..It be like that sometimes.
