I have a feeling Zurdo will be picked up by PBC, have him fight Pascal, Jack, Ebilai, Browne to get in mandatory position for one of the belts!
Why isn’t HEARN Jumping to sign Gilberto Ramirez? He been wanting Bivol!!

He wants to get in the Canelo sweepstakes. I don't care what Canelo said about not fighting any more Mexicans, this fight can and likely will happen once Zurdo gets on with DAZN.Comment

Lol when was the last Mexican Canelo has fought?
Chavez jr!?
Who else that’s Mexican that has a name like Chavez jr even today still?
Canelo vs Chavez jr 2 @ 168 or 175 would do more For DAZN than either Benavidez or Zurdo!
Canelo has bigger fish to fry, he wants the smoke at 168 but these UK fairies keep pricing themselves out cuz they know Canelo will knock their yellow teeth out!
At this point Canelo should fight Andrade, he seems to be the only one willing to take whatever he’s given to fight!Comment

Yes, Chavez Jr was the last Mexican he fought. Not like there are many options at those weight classes. But for Zurdo, obviously Canelo is the biggest fight out there. His move to DAZn won't be just to fight the likes of Bivol. If that was the case, Zurdo could have stayed at TR and fought Beterbiev. If he goes to DAZN, then the fight with Canelo will happen.Lol when was the last Mexican Canelo has fought?

ESPN Deportes and Zurdo said he couldn’t make 168 anymore. He comes from the same crop as Smith. Smith too imo is huge for 168. Only a matter of time until he moves to 175. Hearn has a lot of options for Zurdo! Matchroom would be killing it. Look at the these lineups Hearn could promoteYes, Chavez Jr was the last Mexican he fought. Chavez Jr. vs Zurdo - 175
Zurdo vs Jacobs - catchweight -175
Zurdo vs Smith - 175
Bivol vs Zurdo - 175
These are huge fights for Eddie, DAZN and the Mexican folllowing.
It’s just that back in Feb Zurdo was still with Top Rank, but I’m more than sure they let him go in the style of Andy Ruiz and early contract settlement due to Corona. ESPN and Top Rank must be having crazy issues if they don’t see potential in Ramirez. It’s just that Eddie has better promotional skills for these things than Arum.Comment

Nah, Zurdo isn't that big of a name. Just because he is Mexican and was a champion doesn't mean he is a big draw or a game changer for DAZN or anything. But put against Canelo or even Chavez Jr? That would be really solid. The rest of the match ups like Zurdo vs Jacobs or Bivol? Meh.ESPN Deportes and Zurdo said he couldn’t make 168 anymore. He comes from the same crop as Smith. That’s the way of filler fights. You can’t just apply Ramirez metrics from ESPN since they never marketed him anyways. That was solely ESPN Deportes, and they didn’t even do much. With DAZN soon launching in Mexico as well as Eddie putting on cards which ESPN Deportes would promote anyways has new optimistic metrics. That’s the way it is. Remember the month dates. Matchroom can put two Mexican fight dates in a month which means subs get two fighters within that month for $19.99.Nah, Zurdo isn't that big of a name. I don't know, I just don't see it overall with him. He's not exciting and doesn't really appeal to Mexican fans. But LIS, put him in against Jr or Canelo, and you for sure can make something there. If DAZN Mexico launches, then yeah getting Zurdo will help with that. That’s the way of filler fights. You can’t just apply Ramirez metrics from ESPN since they never marketed him anyways. I wouldn't try to put him in against Bivol just yet though. Not before he gets Canelo and/or Jr. Maybe Eddie can feed him Johnson or something in the mean time as well.Comment
