That's because Loma never called out Ramirez or Taylor. Canelo, on the other hand, said he'd definitely fight Beterbiev. He and Eddie said that during an interview, albeit in Spanish.

Well, I do believe Canelo has a pretty big set of huevos. I think he suffers from the machismo virus, like most of us do, and will not say "no." Nevertheless, he has advisers and matchmakers around him, whom I am sure dissuaded Canelo for pursing a fight with Beterbiev. I do not think Canelo would back down, if push came to shove, however.

I know that interview. Reynoso and Canelo were ASKED about Beterbiev. They said they’d be ready for anybody. Beterbiev was asked about Canelo after he beat Gvozdyk. He said “I‘ll fight anybody. He didn’t say “yes I want that fight.”

Yeah. That's true. I didn't know you had heard that. But that's exactly what happened. It's also why I think people have had this attachment to Canelo fighting Beterbiev. The only one who called out Canelo in the light heavyweight division, that I know of, is Bivol. I'm pretty sure that's it.

Bivol’s hunger is just like Shumenov. Basically same ethnicity too, Turkic. Shumenov was down for Hopkins. Look what happened.
