I actually think Usyk is a favourable style matchup for Joshua.

If Usyk turns up and does what he always does, he will end up hurt.

And my estimation of Joshua has gone way down since Ruiz but Usyk just doesn't have good tools for him imho

      Fair enough.

I think Usyk is there to be hit but he also can be more active than AJ and has faster hands imo, and higher IQ. Would be a good fight either way.

I just see them trading at some point and I don't see it ending well for usyk

But maybe the Chisora fight might make me think a bit different we will see how it goes.

Joshua`s only chance is winning by a KO. Joshua can`t outbox Fury. If he plans to fight him like he fought Ruiz in a rematch, Fury wins every round.

I agree with you to a certain extent. Fury does seem to fight to his opposition level and knowing that tells me AJ is in for a beat down. Fury biggest asset is his size 6’9” and the fact that he knows how to control distance Make him a nightmare for anyone.

Yeah but why didn't Fury take the AJ fight when he was offered it in 2019? If AJ was really in for a beatdown - Fury would have taken it and won 4 belts already and we wouldn't be sitting around now waiting for COVID to finish to see it.

Fury raises too many questions. e.g.

If he is that good, why has he only fought one top-20 fighter in 5 years?

Why did he need the peds?

Considering he is 5 years further on in his career than AJ - why is his record so terrible.

"Show me an unbeaten fighter and I'll show you guy who hasn't fought anybody"

Fury beat an old Klitshsko (and ran from the rematch) and an unproven Wilder

You'd be crazy to risk Fury AJ a $100m+ fight and biggest fight in British boxing history

for an unknown extremely solid boxer like Usyk who doesn't draw.

Fury knows Usyk is a threat and AJ Hearn seemed to have recognized that quite late. Hearn has been buttering and lining up Usyk for a while, them plans are gone or should be gone.

Usyk deserves a shot at them belts once he's proven himself more. plenty of men for him to fight.
