1. You just ignored the fact that you were wrong about Floyd wanting maidanas wba reg title since their fight was for the super title. 2. I said that an established champion in a division isn't going to let Canelo short change them since he doesn't have any credible title at that weight. Mayweather had the wbc title at 147. So unlike Canelo, mayweather was a real champion at 147, taking a much larger split against a guy who just won a wba reg title 1 fight before. Canelo has a fake belt trying to short change the super champion. 3. Stop pumping up maidana. He won a belt at 140 and gave it up immediately and lost his very next fight. He won a regular title vs Broner and lost it the next fight. So in his entire career he has 0 title defenses.

He's a super diva who refuses to agree to the fights that dazn wants and tries to implement low ball offers and rehydration clases into all of his recent fights. As far as Smith, no I don't have much confidence in him winning. He looked bad vs Ryder (which is why Canelo is suddenly willing to face him) , and even if he were to deserve a win vs Canelo, he'd just get screwed by the judges anyway. Canelo has several ridiculous scorecards in his favor, but never a bad one against him. Might as well get paid if you're going to get screwed.
