same, or as Eddie Hearn suggested, that the fight gets called as soon as the first meaningful shot is landed. The more I think about it, there is a high likelihood that this thing turns out to be a disastrous event.

This is like a scene from the film Cocoon. Absolute disgrace and nothing to do with boxing .These old men are completely shot to bits and have been for years .Small gloves and no headgear is just asking for trouble with both unable to avoid shots that have taken them down badly many,many years ago.With a joint age of 105 years this gives use little room to defend this ******ity.Did't Mike say he gets through kilo's of blow a month on his farm...ffs...hit him with your pipe Mike...complete joke!

Yea I'm still trippin on the fact they are fighting in 12oz gloves,, And without headgear, there is no way with was designed to be just a "Freindly Spar" session

I agree. Maybe not with headgear, but certainly the bigger gloves. We would see more skills from them if this were the case. The chances for a knockout would be less, and the playing field could be levelled a bit more for Roy, but nobody wants to see Roy or Mike seriously hurt from this. They've both inspired a generation of fighters, and I hope that they can continue to. I wish I could have seen more of Robinson and Ali, but at least we can see more of these two legends.
