Beterbiev is Canelo’s toughest fight imo. World of Tanks fight.
Bivol NEEDS to fight explosively, offensively, that’s just his style. Fans get carried away that by SEEING guys whom want to take off and fresh that it’s the formula to offset the best. That’s not how it works, and many of us know the context that many pros had done some things in the ams/championships, so the experience is there for sure.
But, I think Bivol gets stopped by Beterbiev and possibly by Canelo too. Bivol shoots too wide, especially when he follows up left or right, he likes to aim high on the top. That’s a big no no against Canelo who targets mid range to the body. I mean we see it all the time, but Eastern Euro fighters below Cruiser, with the exception of Turkic republic genetics like Beterbiev, but many of them are thin framed on the body. We don’t know Bivol’s tolerance for a body shot from Canelo on a counter. If Bivol respects Canelo’s power expect a completely different fight. I mean Gennadiy is tough as nails, but genetically he’s Turkic bloodline too. He don’t like that body work.
I think it comes down to the fighting style. Like Cuban or Russian, Their fundamentals are so square that they’re not fluid enough with experience in dog fights to the body. They’re just not trained that way and are brainwashed to be too technical. Mexican Bidness is just a different art. Brits and Americans got more grit than Eastern Euros imo below HW. This is all relative to the amount of elites or stars, so yeah , I’m just generalizing for what we see, not that it’s 100% true.
