Total BS right here. Mike smokes weed 24/7 and hasn't been in the ring since 2005 when he quit. Roy has been way more active than Mike since that time even if he should've quit years ago. He's still more familiar with being in the ring as of late. 2 years vs 15 years out of the ring is a big difference.
As far as your Roy Jones has brain damage theory, he was one of the best color commentators in boxing until HBO went under! He still has a hell of a lot of insight and regularly makes knowledgable comments about the fight game. Eubank would be training with Roy if he was brain damaged and wasn't making any sense.
Mike has calmed down and is no longer the wild animal he used to be but no way does Mike speak better than Roy. He mumbles and mixes up his words all the time.
Neither of them can take a punch. Their careers in their prime made sure of that since they went from taking virtually no damage to getting chinned and knocked out cold once their reflexes (in Roy's case) went and the drugs, alcohol, insistent partying and being mentally unfit in Mike's case made him all but null and void.

He's been in Roy's gym in Pensacola for like half a year. He is training with Roy. He seems more grounded and modest since getting away from Sr. Don't you think this equates to him focusing on his own career?
I'm thinking you just don't want to see Mike lose to Roy. At least Roy is training with an actual, relevant, if underachieving boxer. Who is Mike training with that has any credentials?

Exactly. Everyone is crapping on Eubank but I think getting away from his old man for a while and training with a HOF'er is the best thing he could've done. I'm not saying Roy is proven to be a great trainer but his influence is less toxic and more based in reality than his delusional dad, as great a boxer as he was in his day.

Eubank has been training with Roy for months. With the COVID-19 virus being out of control in Florida, they are both lucky to have the support of each other. Do you actually think Tyson can absorb a decent punch? He never could once he started getting hit. Enough with the double standard BS.

Who does Mike have on his team who is more qualified than Eubank? You tell me.

I wasn't aware Eubank Jr was that "qualified". He seems to lose his big fights and talk a load of bollox in between them. I'm still waiting for "The Takeover". Probably next year
I never once said Mike was surrounded by the best team or can still take a punch - he probably can't. Apart from some decent sparring, I doubt Jr will be imparting a great deal of wisdom.
I don't even back this fight, tbh. Roy should have quit before the Calzaghe fight.
