Adrian Broner's top 5 best comeback opponents

    1. Paul Spadafora Former world champ and current peoples champ who is famous for being the man to expose the blueprint for beating Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the infamous sparring video filmed at Richard Steele's Nevada Partners Gym in Las Vegas. Spaddy has only ever "lost" one fight by Majority decision which was a world title fight that he moved up to 140 for and clearly won despite the decision. Broner would certainly lose this fight so it's best to avoid, but if Broner could use his size advantage and take advantage of Spaddys inactivity and eek out a decision, it would be by far the best win of his career and biggest win on his resume.

    2. Steve Forbes Steve has the name and pedigree. He's a former world champ and like Broner has weight issues. He won a middleweight fight last year despite not having enough power to hurt lightweights.

    3. Amir Khan Amir's speed would be a big problem for "The Problem" but Adrian could use his size to wear Khan down for a late KO if he trains properly and listens to his corner.

    4. Paulie Malignaggi The rematch would be much easier for Broner since Paulie has lost his footwork and what little punching power he ever had now that can't cover his mouth for a sneeze without breaking his hands. However, Paulie has a big enough mouth to make the event big in the news and to showcase Adrian's triumphant return.

    5. Jeff Horn A decent name built on a win that he didnt win. This is a fighter who will last 12 rounds and make Adrian work and shake off the ring rust, but is far too crude to win a decision as long as, again, Adrian trains properly and listens to his corner.

Broner-Redkach is a decent matchup tbf. Redkach would be a live dog IMO.

I’d genuinely rather watch an AB-Paulie press conference than an AB-Paulie fight.

They’re cool now though so no point in a rematch.

Spadafora and Forbes are completely irrelevant nowadays and Horn is effectively a middleweight. They wouldn’t make sense whatsoever.

Broner-Khan is a decent fight though.

A rematch with Adrian Granados makes the most sense to me.

A lot of people think Broner got away with one in that fight and Granados has looked really bad recently so it would be a chance for Broner to get a flashy win that compares with some of his more elite peers at 140 or 147.

I can 't stand Broner. He was good once but he is not very good now. He seems gun shy and mostly runs awy or clinches and does very little actual fighting, He is awful to watch and an a poor sport. I would not care if he stayed retired since he seems to have lost and battle love and will to win. He was a good fighter once but that was years ago. He gets worse each fight. Most of the opponents you lined up for him are retired. I don't like Khan either and think he is also washed up but he tries harder to win than Broner. Horn is not very good but unlike Broner he gives every fight a 100% effort. I think he would easily beat Broner on sheer will power and effort. No matter how bad Broner fights he still gets big fights. I would rather a boxer who deserves big fights get them than Broner. H stinks and is awful to watch.

Broner is going to fight someone like hank Lundy next. They won’t give him a top name right now. That’s the kind of future opponent broner is looking to fight.
