                  not for nothing but looking at your back and forth, fighting the biggest names isn't the same as fighting the best. Kov was the biggest name at 175 but in 2019 he wasn't better than Beterbiev or Bivol. Canelo went to 168 and definitely fought the weakest champion in fielding, just like Liam Smith was the weakest champion at 154 when he chased that belt. Right now, his list of opponents for his next fight at 168 includes Smith, Saunders and Ryder. They're not better than Benavidez or Plant. So that distinction needs to be made.

                      probably nobody. But, he's also in a position where he can basically make any fight he wants because of his star power. So getting a guy like a Cotto or GGG to face him isn't an issue. Not everyone has that luxury, especially from as young of an age as Canelo has had. He had the biggest name in boxing willing to face him when he was only 23.
