I know. But Valdez has the same corner, and he didn't look too good against Velez. To me, to my eyes, it looked as if Reynoso is too busy with his marquise fighter to give the attention needed to his other fighters. Valdez is a good fighter but looked like crap against Velez. And Valdez is going to be steam rolled by Berchelt. It's going to be so ugly that we'll have to look away from the TV. That's what I think.

So if that's the type of training Reynoso is giving out to his other fighters, then I'm not too sure. Valdez was as much in the spotlight as Reynoso. We shall see ....

And thats why they fight! Wins are not done on paper and fans like us.

It is a 50-50 fight but i'm leaning towards Ryan he has a bigger punch and fights good at distance the better boxer is Luke of course but he can be hurt and has been beat up before Mendy really put it to him in their first fight and I know he came back to win the rematch pretty easy but he can still be touched.

I don't think you can compare Reynosos work with Ryan to Valdez either that's a completely different scenario Ryan went to Eddy young and still has his dad as his assistant trainer Valdez went later in his career and hasn't shown much difference where as Ryan although he hasn't gone rounds has shown some improvements this fight with Campbell should really show what he's been able to work on if he can stop Campbell that would be a big statement.

Campbell definitely has the experience on his side and if he was able to box Ryan it wouldn't surprise me because one thing we haven't seen from Ryan is his stamina in a tough A level fight he looked tired against Morales and since teaming up with Reynoso he hasn't gone many rounds so we haven't seen if he has improved in that aspect. Hopefully this fight happens it is honestly a really good fight and would be competitive if it lasts.

Luke Campbell is a really big LW himself with Olympic pedigree and good experience going in after fighting both Linares and Loma.

I say 60/40 Campbell.

Ryan has youth And strength/ punching power on his side But Campbell’s been in with the best and not been overwhelmed.

I think Ryan beats Campbell by ko only because Campbell will try to go out on his shield this fight imho( as opposed to V loma he played it safe),but yes great fight & truly a pickem,I think Luke will have trouble with Ryans reach & power but will go out in a blaze of glory. We shall see whos right. The fonseca ko was an eye opener for sure.(obviously Luke will be much more formidable)

At first I thought the same thing but to be fair Lopez did not bring the fight up. He just gave his honest answer to a direct question he was asked. A 50/50 fight is a safe answer that does not put down either Garcia or Campbell.

I agree. I just want him to button up his side of the lightweight division. He has me a lil pissed tbh. Too late to try for a money grab. Not at this current economic state anyhow.

In other news, Lopez has reportedly rejected a 1.2 million take it or leave offer and is now resigned to defending his IBF title against another opponent, which means that the fight with Loma is on the edge of collapsing.
