Comments Thread For: Errol Spence, Danny Garcia Confirm FOX PPV Fight Set For November 21

Errol Spence Jr. and Danny Garcia confirmed Friday afternoon that their welterweight title fight is set for November 21. Spence issued a Tweet that revealed the date of their 12-round fight for the unbeaten champion's IBF and WBC 147-pound titles. The site for their main event is not set because it is unknown if fans will be able to attend sporting events in the United States by November 21 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Danny isn’t flat footed at all actually and has pretty good footwork. He chooses to plant his feet more often than not cause he wants to land a huge left hook/or right hand but that’s not his only option. Against Rios he was on his toes and used good angles and pivots to set up blind shots.

Spence in actuality is the flat footed fighter.

Spence deserves a lot of respect taking on Garcia after such a car accident like that. He could have picked a lower level contender and no one could complain.

Really good news! Big fight, Garcia deserve that title shot against Spence. I hope Errol with not affected by he's car accident, because Swift is no joke.

Spence at 90% still beats Garcia. Like someone said before, Garcia is too flatfooted. Spence is a more complete and versatile fighter.

Danny Garcia is no easy out for anyone at 147 and often seems underrated (especially at NSB!).
Both those fights could have gone either and wouldn't have been robberies imo. Garcia's slow start hurt him both times.
Like others have said, this is a tough first fight back for Spence and he deserves some appreciation for it. His title fight opponents have definitely been better than Crawford's so far . . .
