That doesn't mean he's ducking or greedy. That means he feels his services are worth more than what is being offered. Maybe he's wrong and maybe he's right but that's for the market to decide.

The difference between Floyd and Canelo is Floyd didn't need a big name opponent to draw big numbers. Canelo is not a star on that level.

I think every case is different. In Teo's case I don't think he's afraid I just think he's getting greedy. Fighting and beating Loma is worth way more to Lopez than asking for more and not making the fight.

What's upsetting about Canelo is that him and his corner, maybe more his corner and GBP, keep telling the media they want Smith and then always do just enough to not make it worth it for Smith or flatout just go with someone else when Smith accepts their offer. That's some pu**y a** sh**.

Every time Floyd Mayweather fought someone in a fight that was viewed as potentially competitive, they were fairly compensated.

When he fought guys who didn’t have a prayer and had no business fighting him, they got a flat fee that was low percentage.

If Viktor Postol moved up to middleweight to fight Canelo Alvarez, I think $3 million would be very fair.
