Stephen Fulton was the only one of the six fighters scheduled to fight on Showtime's three-bout broadcast Saturday night that didn't participate in a virtual press conference Wednesday. He won't fight Saturday night, either. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Philadelphia's Fulton and two members of his team tested positive for COVID-19. Fulton (18-0, 8 KOs) therefore has been removed from Showtime's main event a 12-round, 122-pound fight against Albuquerque's Angelo Leo (19-0, 9 KOs) for the vacant WBO junior featherweight title at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut

I've always been a fan of Tramaine, love it when he shows a little of the Pernel Whitaker type defense - but Fulton had been too ****y lately so maybe this situation will humble him.

Apparently Fulton was at his restaurant openning a few weeks ago with no mask on, smh.

The way they're doing it looks careless to me. Finding out fight week means, nobody cared what he was doing yesterday. You can't trust people to self isolate, individually its almost impossible, unless you're rich and own a space suit.

It did say he was tested 6 times since June 25.
I blame this on him. He knew he had a fight coming up he should have been more alert with his surroundings. He could have done the restaurant opening next week.
