Aha. Here, Estrada vs Adkins for the WBC Silver apparently. Fastest KO in female boxing history apparently.

Absolutely irresponsible of the WBC frankly, but as in the men's sport that's kinda how they roll.

In the heavier divisions, MW / SMW these kinda absurd mismatches are almost inevitable because there is so few women boxing but at 108 this should have been avoidable.

Mmm. Funny enough can't find Adkins rated by the WBC at either 108 or the adjacent divisions. It is one of the unavoidable problems with the womens sport though... say at 108, there's 148 registered female pro boxers. Split that down between the 4 orgs and you get at situation where each org might have only 20 or 30 women in their rankings... and of course it's even worse in the higher divisions (which is how they wrangled a shot at 2 vacant titles for Habazin of course).

Poor girl never wanted the smoke. You could tell by her body language before the bell rang. When the bell did ring, you could tell how shook she was based on the way she moved.

          How did that happen?

No one knows and there should be an investigation.

But what’s even more embarrassing is this 5-0 nobody won an IBA title in her fight against that 0-2 winless girl.

The IBA should be held criminally responsible for giving that girl a fake title and allowing her to get assaulted the way she did.
Sounds like some dudes on GGG resume? Could she at least afford two gloves and not have to borrow taxi money to make it to the promotional pics???

Haha J/K. Who ever set this up should be banned from boxing forever.

              Fuck me... read this ish...

We have begun to learn more about the ridiculous set of circumstances that led to Friday night's near-instantaneous knockout in a women's fight

And, that was verified by O’Hara, who uncovered that her professional record appears to be a total fraud. This is because Adkins husband, promoter John Carden, had her repeatedly fight women who were not fighters but instead, professional strippers. And, apparently, most of them had never been in a boxing ring before.

An unnamed source told O’Hara about Adkins’s fights and that the exotic dancers didn’t even have boxing equipment of their own,
So that's why her opponents were all debutantes. And the WBC sanctioned that shet for a minor belt too...

Well for her maybe, although the impression I'm getting is that she didn't want to be in that ring one little bit. Her fella shouldn't be allowed to promote a damn thing ever again though. The SAC probably oughta tighten up it's standards a bit too.
