Of course protecting their health is of utmost importance, but the way Roy is talking I’m not so sure Mike will be able to contain himself.

Roy is sayin that Mike always got frustrated if he couldn’t finish an opponent early, and when the obvious becomes apparent on fight night(?) he’s gonna connect all night on Mike with better overall strategic moves.

Mike doesn’t believe that, nor has he ever appreciated that analysis of his skills and championship level thinking.

So Mikes ego is gonna want a points win at any cost, even if Roy has to visit the canvas (at least) twice!

As a huge Tyson fan back in the day - I have no desire to watch this fight live at all. I will be curious about what happens and will watch it at some point but it's way down my 'excitement' list.

Tyson is old. Jones is old. This fight will just be Jones running until Tyson gets tired. Ref will probably jump in and stop it as soon as anyone gets hit more than 3 times. These are old men. Will be a big disappointment

Why is this a surprise ? Boxing had a big casual fan base when Tyson was around.That's been gone for about 20 years now. He is the ticket seller in this exhibition.Most people remember him. How many boxers today will be remembered years from now by anyone other than a die hard fan ?Agree is just a glorified sparring session which the casuals do not realize.
