He got sick with Rosado and there was no IBF on the line for that. Dude just gets sick too often. Maybe there's a correlation between training in high altitude with cleaner air and going on press tours in big cities that messes up his immune system every so often.

i only heard that before the rosado fight and he beat the living fuck outta him. he looked crappy at the weigh in for the brook fight but never heard anything, and again, he beat the living fuck outta him too.

No link needed bruh! The Kel Brook fight as well as the Daniel Jacobs fight should be fresh in your memory. The Kel Brook fight they were very specific about being sick and they’ve look like a corpse at 160 every fight since. Look at all the Canelo/ggg weigh ins Golovkin looks like shet and that’s with no rehydration clause.

Well theyare might not have been a rehydration clause but there was some heavy narrative damage control done on that fight. If you remember correctly Golovkin team was already saying they were small middleweight which they had to actually do their best to prove vs Rosado, because they key part of that fight is Rosado was a 154 pounder coming up to full middleweight to challenge ggg at 160. So it obvious that ggg has to at least give the impression that he wasn’t weight bullying Rosado and the weight cut OBVIOUSLY made him sick. Come on man why else would Golovkin go thru so much effort to weigh “less” at the weigh in then Rosado and Brook? His weight was like 157 I believe

Well they were offering to come to 157 but Rosado said **** that. Who knows how he would've looked at 157 but his fight night weights from that time (assuming you believe what they show), had him coming in lower than damn near most LMW's. He was never a big MW but once he started getting older and fighting twice a year, that ****ed with his metabolism and it became obvious that 160 was getting harder to make. If it was truly just the weight cut, he would be sick more often. He also seems to get sick during the cooler seasons, which shouldn't be a shock.
