Ppl should realise that unless a vaccine comes out (unlikely) or covid magically disappears (unlikely) or governments decide to simply let it go (less unlikely but still unlikely), the so colled "new normal" will last and so the social distancing at events.

People love to s*** on Frank, but Dubois vs Joyce is miles better than anything Eddie Hearn has done recently.

Dubois - Joyce is a great fight between two top 20 heavyweights.

It's not a usual PPV fight and I get Frank wants/needs to make money but for me this matchup and the importance of the fight is an ideal behind close doors fight..

People have interest but not enough to pay for it. The attending fans will be about the best he can get in terms of revenue etc and he probably knows it...

It's whether the 2 boxers want to be put on hold.. are they going to keep active in between with shelf stackers or just think, let's get it on and be ready for the bigger fights when the time does come to open the gates....

People want the fight to happen in October, and the boxers don't want to take a pay cut. Unless they increase the PPV price significantly then Warren is right. TV networks, promoters and the boxers are not in it to fight for less. Doesn't matter what the fans want. The fighters would gladly postpone the fight until further notice.

                It's a fight I'm intrigued in..
Do you expect them to keep active in between Ray?.. say at least another fight after these closed doors? I'd begin to favour D as time went on. I think it'd be a close encounter about now but another 6/8 months plus then I think D could have the edge..

I don't know how Joyce is feeling but he'll be 35 soon and could be closer to 36 time it comes about.. I can't see a title fight available to them anytime over the next 2 years (I may be wrong) even if they went on a run.. even though D will be chomping at the bit, he has plenty of time but going back to Joyce do you think he should stay patient or push through and try muscle in and make noise before the big boys start up?

And how will haymon make 2 big fights in the same night during pandemic? I mean Charlo brothers against Derevyanchenko and Rosario.

This is the reality facing boxing, boxers and promoters.
The $$$ they've all gotten used to isn't, and won't be, there.
That why "no-pay cut" from big earners like Crawford is not going to hold.

The issue he has is that he’s currently getting 20k viewers for the bum fights so how can he guarantee there will be a big step up in tv viewers for them against each other? Reality is that if they did the fight on sky it would probably get ten times the viewers and make it more viable.

Ppv though should be dismissed regardless - it’s not a ppv fight and it never was. If you make it ppv then it will just be a complete flop- it would work as a co-main to a big fight with well known stars potentially but not on its own merit
