I don't care about Floyd all that much, far from a fan. But compared to the ear biting rapist he's a saint. And "Floydieholics"? Do you seriously think that's clever or creative? I wish you had some self-awareness.

is just a hardcore weakling narcissist who always has to be in the spotlight....
It actually sounds like Tyson that you're describing here, fool. What kind of worm goes out and ACTS like he's gonna have a real boxing match(that's clearly how they're trying to hype this up) at the age of 54. This loser is 54 and still can't let go of the fighting spotlight.

Yes, Tyson was a real POS. I believe he probably still is but just hides it better.
Mayweather is no role model either but, as you said, compared to Tyson he almost looks good.

I'm no Tyson fan either... was actually glad Buster put him in his place. This exhibition is kind of ridiculous IMO. And BTW, the Floydie/McGregor exhibition shouldn't have counted as #50. Have whatever opinion you want, bubba. I don't care. I just gave mine... nothing more.

          LOL.... Floyd's ego.

So BKM is right in the sense that Floyd has done less bad things in his life and Floyd also has made more money in boxing.

At the same time... Tyson is ABSOLUTELY the bigger name and has a bigger legacy....

Ask any non-boxing fan to name a famous boxer and odds are you are going to get Ali or Tyson....

Boxing fans will pull up Floyd, but not the general public... as such... Tyson IS a bigger name.

Beyond that, it comes down to if you believe in recourse and a clean slate. Tyson did his time in jail and in the recent past, has shown better character than Floyd.

While Floyd is partying at his strip club (while it has power), Tyson is speaking about his career and trying to do good in the world... and if you are a Christian who believes in forgiveness, It is tough not to like Mike.

Floyd? Yeah, he is still an egotistical jack ass.

But is it deserved? No. There are 10 HW's that should be named before him, not many boxing historians even rank Tyson in the top 10 ATG HW's because he beat no one great and lost to all the greats in his day.

He made his name not just from the knockouts but because of his insane lifestyle and acting like a maniac disgracing the sport for decades. He became a pop culture figure.

Floyd made his name by being an unbeatable boxer with so much skills that even casuals wanted to watch him(and yes most wanted to see him lose) and he beat many great fighters.

You don't have to believe me, look at the facts. PPV numbers. Floyd's numbers completely destroy's Tyson's numbers. Secondly, look at the amount of HOF boxer's they beat, title wins, longevity etc.

So yes, if a casual knows Mike Tyson, 9 out of 10 times it is followed up with "crazy bastard he was right?"
With Floyd they might mention his money but they all believe he's the best boxer they've ever seen.

True... but when it comes to who is a bigger name, it is all irrelevant. Tyson IS a bigger name and will be... even if he had a ****tier boxing career and record...

We are not discussing who has a better resume, a better boxer, or who made more money... we are asking who is the bigger name... and by far, that is Tyson.

No, we were discussing a lot more than just the bigger name aspect.

But if you want to change that now and only look at that, then it's a ridiculous thing to even talk about and defend like it means anything, don't you think? Butterbean was a terrible boxer but a bigger name than many all time great heavyweights. Is it worth arguing for Butterbean's sake?

No. Just like it's not worth it to keep claiming Tyson has a bigger name than Mayweather when he's inferior in every other way. It's irrelevant.

Here you go off the rails again showing your ignorance driven by hate . Mayweather has never fought outside of Vegas and his best wins were after his opponents were at their best . He is not remotely on Mikes radar in boxing both in and out of the ring ,who has ever played Mayweathers Punch Out ? If they walked down the street together who do you think a flock of people are going to surround ? Ha

Mikes own youngest champion in history itself is going to be always more well known even that of Mayweathers defeat of McGregor who is not even a boxer ? Ha
