Address you hypocrisy Canelo fans: Is Smith wrong or is DAZN wrong?

Time to address this Canelo fans, you can’t have it both ways! (even though you’re trying to.)

You can’t say:

“Callum Smith is a bum who doesn’t deserve $5 million to fight Canelo and should take whatever he’s offered.”

Then read that DAZN isn’t happy with the opponent selection and say:

“What’s wrong with DAZN? Smith is a great opponent! He’s the WBA super champion at 168 and holds the Ring Magazine belt!”

I know Callum Smith is going against Canelo Alvarez’s wishes and I know DAZN is going against Canelo’s wished as well.

But they can’t both be wrong.

Is Callum Smith a worthy opponent and therefore deserving of $5 million to fight Canelo Alaverez (less than he made to fight George Groves)?

OR

Is he not a name opponent who isn’t deserving of that money... which means DAZN is right in wanting Canelo to fight a bigger name for $35 million?

Deflect away Canelo fans, you’re masters at this.

(In case you’re wondering, I think Smith is deserving and should get his money but I do have understand DAZN’s point.)

Smith is definitely a worthy opponent. Among his many accomplishments he won the 168 lb tournament. DAZN is eager to debut in the UK market. A Canelo vs Smith bout makes a lot of sense. But DAZN is not the best managed company, they always manage to find a way to "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory."

Yeah, talk about hypocrisy. TS is a huge hypocrite. He watch everything for free, couldn't even pay $100 worth of yearly subscription. He doesn't pay for PPVs. What he got is a blackbox and can even watch fights in Mexico. He admitted this himself. Yet here he is telling investors to spend their own money paying for his expensive undeserving greedy heroes.

Mind you I think all the guys should be getting less money especially with what’s going on but it is unfair to ask him to take a cut And pay up

Look, I hate when people make a big deal about other people's money. There are posters here who care about that more than the actual sport. The thing is DAZN has a contractual obligation to pay Canelo, especially since Canelo is what has gotten DAZN it's most subs, he's basically their backbone in the states.

Yeah everyone is hiding their cards really close. It makes sense to kind of cut Canelo pay a lil to give to the other guy to make up some.

Dan Rafeal last year before Kovalov at the last minute finally approved Andrade but Canelo would have to take around a $5-6 million cut to offset the pay.
