He a one dimensional fighter that doesn't really know how to adjust to anything. All he does is throw his jab and rights and grabs. Thats all. Every fight I see him in thats all he does. He got his fame when he got a lucky punch on Lewis when he threw a big right hand, but got his ass handed to him in the rematch. Rahman is garbage and Im glad someone with some versatility won the belt and can bring some excitment to the heavy weight division. Oleg maybe old but hes still 10x more exciting to watch than Rahman. But atleast Rahman can always say he won a real belt against lewis witha lucky punch.

I dont care much for Rahman or Maskaev...

I wonder how many idiots paid for this fight ?

although it sounds like a good fight from the round by round reports...

He my not be th ebest but he is a 2 time Champ, and from what i'm reading he was doing pretty good in the fight, winning on 2 scorecards going into the final round

Yeah, he landed in my best estimation...a lucky punch on Lewis. In the second fight, he was knocked out cold....by the better fighter. It's really hard for me to believe that Rahman was a better fighter than Lewis....and that's why he won.

Lewis stated it was a lucky punch, and in the rematch he was just going to knock him out. He kept trying to emphasize...that Rahman is Rahman....and Lennox Lewis is Lennox Lewis.

If you try and compare the two....it's lauguable.

Rahman's second capture of the title came when Don King handed it to him because Vitali Klitschko vacated.

I honestly do not know why. I guess I was drawn to him after he beat Lewis. I've always thought he was sloppy too. His defense has many holes in it, and anybody with a good left hook could beat him. The funny thing is, I know his win over Lewis was a fluke, since Lewis was not prepared and messing around in the fight. Oh well...
